Ready to run the show? The Home Entertainment Advisor (HEA) serves as the critical primary liaison – the trusted general contractor, if you will – between customers and Geek Squad® installation and sales staff.

He or she is present during every stage of a project, from consultation through purchase, installation and after-sale follow-up. HEAs travel to customers’ homes or offices to assess their needs, which they use to create proposals. After the customer agrees to the proposal, the HEA then communicates it to Geek Squad® sales and installation team, and coordinates all necessary steps to ensure the customer’s needs are met.


Responsibilities
  • • Assess customer needs through in-home consultations
  • • Create proposals and coordinate inventory and Geek Squad® employee resources to see projects through completion
  • • Provide single point of contact promptly addressing questions and issues
  • • Visit retail stores in district to build relationships with the sales team, drive in-home consultation sales, learn about current offerings and train others on the HEA customer experience
  • • Evaluate the performance of the Geek Squad® installation team
  • • Participate in ongoing professional development (provided by Geek Squad) to ensure skills remain current
Basic Qualifications
  • • Must achieve advanced HT Sales Pro and Installer Certification status
  • • Exemplary sales, customer service and leadership skills
  • • Vast product, technical and installation knowledge, along with a solid basic grasp of construction principles
  • • Creativity and vision to meet unique customer needs with custom solutions
  • • Current valid driver’s license and clear driving record
