The SSM manages the entire Precinct, and leads the sales floor when functioning as manager on duty. Beyond the Precinct, he or she is accountable for protecting and delivering the Geek Squad field service brand, along with overseeing all installations (mobile, home theater, computers), services and repairs, deliveries, third-party relationships, and new business development.
- • Communicate and execute the Field Services Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles
- • Ensure consistently high levels of service
- • Provide problem-resolution support for employees and customers
- • Oversee the business according to standard operating procedures, with the intent of optimizing employee engagement, customer service, and operational efficiency
- • Directly supervise field service employees – including time and attendance, coaching, training, leadership, hiring/termination, and rewards and recognition
- • Manage store operations as manager on duty and sales floor leader
- • Maintain clear and consistent communications with management staff
- • 2-year Associate degree in business management and/or technical area
- • 2 - 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a retail environment
- • Two years of sales experience
- • MECP, MSCE or A+ Certification
