Tech Support offers unlimited access to 24/7 technical support, including virus removal, computer tune-ups, troubleshooting and access to 60,000 how-to videos. Geek Squad Protection is about hardware. Tech Support is about software.
What types of devices can I receive support on?As a Tech Support member, you can receive support on up to three PCs, Macs or tablets, no matter where you bought them.

Why do I have to pay an initial set-up fee to get monthly payment terms for Tech Support?An initial set-up fee ensures that you’ll have instant coverage on all of your PCs, Macs and Tablets and you will receive your Internet Security Software to stay virus-free.
When will I be billed every month for automatic payments?Monthly billing will happen on the anniversary date of your initial purchase. Example: If you purchased on January 2nd, your first monthly bill will happen on February 2nd.
What if I need to change my credit card for automatic payments?You can call 1-800 Geek Squad, and let the Agent know you would like to update your credit card/payment information for your Tech Support monthly membership.
What is Internet security software?Internet security software is a more robust product than anti-virus security, providing additional support for social networking, anti-spam protection, privacy protection and safe web surfing. Internet security software will help keep your personal information safe and secure and help keeps both PCs and Macs virus-free.
Is Webroot the only Internet security software I can get with Tech Support? I’ve seen other options in-store.Currently, Webroot is the only product that can be offered through an online purchase. We will continue to work on providing additional options that are available in-store.
How do I download my Internet security software?You will receive a download link in your purchase confirmation. The download link will also be included within your “Welcome to Tech Support” email that you should receive within the next 24 hours.
