San Diego Comic-Con: Is Geek the new Cool?

A couple weeks ago I attended my first San Diego Comic-Con and I am still confused.

I was expecting a small group of geeks getting together dressed up like Rebel Pilots and discussing the finer points of how “Spiderman could so take out Batman because of his enhanced genetic code” but I was actually amazed at what was really happening. Read more after the jump.

Avoiding Malware’s Latest Trick

Malware sucks. More and more people are infected every day. Now, malware is cloaking itself behind the guise of what appears to be for the end user, a legitimate program.  What is particularly devious about these new forms of malware is that they pretend to be the cure, rather than the problem!

So how does someone determine the difference between a legitimate antimalware suite, and a fake/harmful program?
