There's nothing that can ruin your holiday cheer like losing your cell phone to water damage. Fortunately, even if you drop your mobile in your Guinness this St. Patrick's Day, Geek Squad has some tips to help save that phone. No lucky four leaf clovers required!

if you drop your phone in Guinness, you might opt for something stronger: pure alcohol is a very good way to cure your phoneś hangover: hygroscopic and not very good in conduction.
If the phone was submerged in salt water, after removing the battery, soak it in distilled water to get the salt out. And if it does not work after overnight in rice or silica gel, leave it for a few days, and in a warm place (around 100F).
