Change the Size of a Web Page
2 Minute Miracle

Web pages can often have text that is hard to read. Make the page bigger so you can see every detail and even read the fine print. Most web browsers support the ability to zoom in and out so you can control the size of the page.

What you'll need

  1. An internet connection
  2. A Mac or PC with Internet Explorer (PC Only), Safari, Chrome or Firefox

  1. On PCs, press ctrl and the plus or minus symbol on your keyboard. On Macs, press command and the plus or minus symbol. Press it multiple times to zoom farther in or out.
  2. Browsers also have menus to change the zoom if a keyboard isn't your thing.
    • In Internet Explorer 8 & 9, look for a magnifying glass in the bottom right of the window. Click the magnifying glass to view the zoom options.
    • In Safari, click the 'View' menu and then click 'Zoom In' or 'Zoom Out'.
    • In Chrome, click the wrench in the top right corner of the window and click plus or minus next to the zoom option.
    • In Firefox, click the 'View' menu, goto 'Zoom' and click 'Zoom In' or 'Zoom Out'.

Once you change the zoom level, it changes for all sites you will visit. You may need to change it for each website to fit everything on the screen.
